Philippians 1:27-29 NIV

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved--and that by God. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him. Philippians 1:27-29 NIV


27 ขอแต่เพียงให้ท่านดำเนินชีวิตให้สมกับข่าวประเสริฐของพระคริสต์ เพื่อว่าแม้ข้าพเจ้าจะมาหาท่านหรือไม่ก็ตาม ข้าพเจ้าก็จะได้รู้ข่าวของท่านว่า ท่านเชื่อมั่นคง เป็นน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกัน ต่อสู้เหมือนอย่างเป็นคนเดียวเพื่อความเชื่ออันเกิดจากข่าวประเสริฐนั้น
28 และท่านไม่เกรงกลัวผู้ที่ขัดขวางท่านแต่ประการใดเลย เมื่อเป็นเช่นนี้ก็จะเป็นที่ประจักษ์แก่เขาว่า พวกเขาจะถึงซึ่งความพินาศ แต่พวกท่านก็คงจะถึงซึ่งความรอด และการนั้นมาจากพระเจ้า
29 เพราะพระเจ้าได้ทรงโปรดแก่ท่านเพราะเห็นแก่พระคริสต์ มิใช่ให้ท่านเชื่อถือในพระองค์เท่านั้น แต่ให้ท่านทนความทุกข์ยากเพราะเห็นแก่พระองค์ด้วย
